#6 Redirect Stuff you Don't Like
This one always cracks me up. People call and tell me all the time, I don't like that my dog jumps, or barks or literally anything they don't like.
My first question is always: "Well, have you TAUGHT them what to do instead?" It's almost always a No, or just silence.
THE SECRET: Teach the exact opposite behavior

But hey, we're human and we forget. So if you get yourself into an Oops situation...

Ask your dog for the exact opposite thing and PAY THAT BEHAVIOR!!!!
Soon your dog will learn it's a better deal to do the opposite behavior instead of the annoying one you don't like!

Example:
Jumping Up - Ask for a Sit
Barking - Ask them to search (they can't sniff and bark at the same time)
